Changelog

What changed in the portal, newest first.

Unreleased

Added

  • Log in with a link sent to your e-mail address. No password needed.
  • Log in with a passkey, and add or remove passkeys in your settings.
  • The portal with your overview, navigation and settings.
  • An operator page to see accounts and manage roles.
  • Operators can suspend and delete accounts, reset passkeys, revoke devices and grant or revoke access, each with a reason and written to the log.
  • A suspended account cannot log in or sync until the suspension is lifted. The agent keeps its key and says the account is suspended.
  • Your level and streak come from your account. A paired PC trains at the level the portal shows, also after a reinstall or on a second PC, and keeps counting while it is offline.
  • Practise an earlier level: choose it on your start page, go back to your own level any time. Those sessions are marked "Earlier level" and count neither for nor against your level.
  • The live page shows the last 30 seconds of your drift angle, and for each finished drift the share at full throttle, the entry gear, the speed and the start (handbrake, clutch kick or throttle). The last drifts are back at once after a reload.
  • On level 10 and up the live page lists your runs with the zones you hit, and in tandem the gap, the angle difference and the entry delay to your partner or your ghost. Your partner is never named.
  • Read aloud: the live page can speak new coach hints in the coach's language. Keep screen on: a switch that stops your phone from locking. Both are off by default and remembered per browser.
  • The live page connects again at once when your phone wakes up, and replaces a connection that went silent while it slept.
  • In long sessions the runs card shows your newest ten runs and counts all of them. A chart from a PC that went offline is dimmed.
  • With two PCs online, read aloud never repeats a hint when the page switches between them.
  • Delete your own account in the settings. With an authenticator app you confirm with a code, without one with a link by e-mail. Your paired PCs show that the account is gone and delete its training data, including sessions not uploaded yet.
  • The public website of Drivts at /de and /en: home page with the skidpad session of 10 October, privacy policy, imprint and a contact form, in German and English. / sends you to your language.
  • The login page has two intents, Sign in and Request access, and keeps the language of the website (`?lang=`), also when you switch the language at the bottom of the page and through the link in the e-mail. A new account without access sees the card "Your request is in" on the start page, and the operator list marks it "waiting for access".

Changed

  • The desktop app now reads the first coach hint of a session aloud too.
  • With an updated desktop app, the live page shows no score per drift. Drifts appear when they are finished, with the same number the coach uses. Older desktop apps still show the score.
  • Once a session is safely in your account, the agent deletes it from your PC. Unpairing a PC deletes its training data; the app says first how many sessions are not uploaded yet.
  • Removing a PC in the portal deletes the sessions it has already uploaded from that PC. Sessions it has not uploaded yet stay there and go up when you pair it again.
  • The old product page is gone. The legal links in the footer and under Settings, Legal go to the imprint, privacy policy and contact page of the website.
  • The independence note about the game makers is in the imprint only, no longer in the footer or under Settings.

Security

  • Adding or removing a passkey needs a code from an authenticator app. Logging in does not.
  • Set up the app in your settings with a QR code, and keep the ten backup codes for a lost phone.
  • You get an e-mail when an authenticator app is set up and when a passkey is removed.
  • After five wrong codes, codes are refused for 15 minutes. If it happens again without a right code in between, for 1 hour, then for 24 hours. You get an e-mail on the first lock of a day.
  • Setting up the first authenticator app on an account with a passkey needs a login from the last day, like adding a passkey.
  • New backup codes on an account with a passkey need a login with a passkey.
  • Support can reset the authenticator app when the phone and every backup code are lost.
  • If the server cannot check codes, you see a message to write to support. Your tries are not counted.
